Laser resurfacing and building collagen

Renews skin from within by purging old, damaged layers while stimulating fresh collagen. The laser works through multiple layers to minimize pores, soften fine wrinkles and lighten aging spots and sun spots, and it is effective for acne scars. Face and neck take the longest chair time, so allow 90 minutes for each.

The laser, the visit and the count

All pricing is per treatment unless stated, and the number of treatments depends on skin type. Brightening runs once a month for 3 months. For resurfacing, many clients get their best results from a series of 2 to 4, and Donna builds a customized maintenance program to keep them.

A Candela fractional non-ablative laser. Non-ablative means it does not wound the skin's surface: it works beneath it.

First Donna takes the information her medical records and medical director need, and treatment begins once a medical professional approves it. She applies a lidocaine compound to numb your face and neck and leaves it on for 45 minutes. The laser works the deep tissue first, then the superficial tissue, with settings personalised to you. The treatment itself takes about 20 to 30 minutes, and she finishes with a cooling enzyme and sunscreen.

No. This laser does not take off layers of skin, so there are no weeks of recovery. Most people have mild swelling and redness for a couple of hours afterwards. Occasionally someone has redness or swelling for a day.

You will see changes, but it takes 4 weeks for a session to count as one treatment. The skin purges the old layers while it builds collagen and resurfaces, and it keeps improving as time passes. Many clients get their best results from a series of 2 to 4 treatments.

Laser brightening is $150 for the face or neck alone, or $200 for face and neck. Resurfacing and collagen building is $400 for the face or neck and $600 for chest, back or arms. The acne treatment is $400 for the face and includes 4 treatments. Prices are per treatment unless stated.
